Deprescribing
Deprescribing refers to the process of identifying problematic medications and either reducing the dose or stopping these medications in a manner that is safe, effective, and helps people maximize their wellness and goals of care. Our team works to better understand patient and clinicians' experiences with deprescribing, to develop materials to support deprescribing conversations, and to study the outcomes of deprescribing in real-world settings. Our work is supported by the US Deprescribing Research Network.
